Mr Jelly

Another Psychoville fan art.
Mr.Jelly Princess Party!

Thanks Reece Sheasmith.

I don't mean to sound like an annoying little fan girl.
But I am so proud, and pleased that Reece Shearsmith liked my Psychoville drawings.
I've been such a fan of the League of Gentlemen for so many years, and they have influenced me so much.
And to have him tell me that 'Maureen & David would be proud', is just magical to me.

Thanks sir.

Psychoville fan art

My first attempt at Psychoville fan art.

Look what happened to them on twitter!
Sarah Solemani played a character in the second series.
Im so chuffed.

Crude animation made from the drawings.

Some new paintings I made yesterday.
Paint on fabric,
tools used: my fingers and a cocktail stick.
Scale, approximately A3.

They are for my 'Sleeping Children' series,
a series expressing my thoughts on the inner child,
and Victorian children (well, children any time) who have sadly passed away.

Prints available in January.

I haven't drawn Alice in over a year,
whilst manning my stall at the fair, I drew her.
I think I will create mixed media drawings of Alice and the other
residents of Wonderland, and sell prints of them.

Craft fair the first!

Here's a couple of photos at my stand at the craft fair in Glynllifon.
It was my first fair, and was a pleasant experience.
I sold more than I expected too!
I got featured in the Daily Post too!
Im the first one..with all the pink!

Im working on very small 'rebranding' on the website.
But only slightly- just trying to get things to match a little bit.
Just some more small changes to come.

And the shop is open...

I had issues with the shop, it seemed to think I had multiples of everything,
so now originals and one offs will have to be purchased through email/paypal.
But the online shop has prints, cards, and other bits and bobs.

I will constantly be adding to the shop.
Its a little bare at the moment, but there's more to come.

Lovely comments...

I've finally had a chance to look through my comment book from World Skills,
some people left comments for the whole stand in my book referring to the wishing tree etc.
But there where also a chunk for me personally.
They're so kind, and lovely, and have really touched me.
Thank you, to everyone who took the time to write comments.
I don't think anyone writing really understands just how precious and meaningful these comments are to have.
When you feel low, and de-motivated, they always give you a little push, a boost in confidence.
So than you. So much.
These where some of the ones left for me:

And I think the one below is one of the ones that was probably left for the entire coleg menai stall:
look at how charming it is:
I will scan in all the ones that I think where left for Coleg Menai too and send them to them.

World Skills London

Here is my little corner at World Skills London 2011.
My work was at the Coleg Menai stand with some other beautiful work.
Our stand also had a 'Wishing Tree' which was a joint effort of various students-
it was the publics wishes that really made it.

You can see various pictures from the other students work at the Coleg Menai Facebook page.

Derelict hotel...

Today I went on an adventure to Soldiers point hotel, Holyhead.
Here is one of the photos.
The rest are on my website. Under 'Photographs- Derelict building'
I took some footage too, but it was less successful than the photos.
Also, I was a little girl, and got scared, I panicked because I thought we where being boarded in.
We weren't.
